Midwest Covenant Home Receives 5 Star Rating

Within the past three years, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) developed a rating system aiding consumers in comparing the services and quality of Long Term Care facilities.

On May 18, 2011, Midwest Covenant Home received their notice of the most recent rating, and all were quite pleased to see 5 Stars.

The areas evaluated are Health Inspections or surveys as you may have heard them referred to, Staffing and the numbers of hours compared to the level of care and service provided and Quality Measures, which are 10 different clinical and physical standards measured within the facility.

Since the inception of this rating system, Midwest Covenant Home has been very fortunate to have received two 5 Star ratings and one 4 Star rating.

Sincere appreciation, gratitude and congratulations is due to the dedicated employees for their hard work which shows through in survey results and ultimately the rating system score.
