Construction Update

What a difference some nice weather and a few days can make!!!
The construction team has been making wonderful progress on the Dining Room Addition with the “unseasonable” weather that we have been enjoying the past 10 days or so.

As you can see the dirt work has mostly been completed and the steel work and roof have been installed.

In reviewing the timeline, the plan is still to have the addition enclosed before Winter sets in permanently. Provided we can make good on that plan, the contractors would then be able to spend the Winter months inside on the “finish work”.

While moving along outside, things are moving just as quickly inside. The Restorative Care Department will soon be enjoying their expanded facilities. What has previously served as the Social Services office was rearranged to allow for additional square footage for the therapies provided. This adjustment is also allowing for a new Activities office. Ron Kutschkau of Kutsch Construction is serving as the General Contractor for this project and we are anticipating completion towards the middle of November.

Feel free to stop by the facility to see the progress.
